Simply Thai
A hidden secret, this Thai food has amazingly authentic food. The curry here is incredible, not to mention the sweet mango rice! Even if curry is not your thing, there are a variety of plates to choose from. You will not be disappointed with Simply Thai.

South Towne Mall -
Located on the corner of 106000 S. and State Street. This is the local mall. Packed with all your mall favorites! Forever 21, Vans, Dillards and more! This gem even has an indoor carousel! If you've got time to kill, this is a great place.
Draper Peaks
Located at 200 E. 123000 S. Draper. This place is loaded! Whatever shopping you need or want to get done, chances are you can find what you need here. With options such as Zupas, Ross, Platos Closet, Petco, Famous Footwear, Sally's, Kohls and so much more, it's a great place to shop. 

South Towne Shopping
Nordstrom Rack, Bed, Bath & Beyond, DSW Designer Shoe and more! This strip mall has a great variety of fantastic shopping. Not to mention there is also a great variety of food available. Whether you're looking for sweets, lunch or dinner you can find it here. 
Jordan High School
Historic Jordan high school has been around since 1908. Want to watch a game? Check out their schedule here.
Jordan Commons Megaplex Theater
This theater is a part of Sandy City History. In it's place stood the original Jordan Common high school, built in 1908. When the building was condemned, Larry bought it and told the community he would build something in it's place where people could still visit, still create memories in their youth and with their loved ones. The front of the theater has an exact replica of the old school staircase. Jordan Commons not only has the history, but the cutting edge cinema technology to make this an unforgettable experience.
The Living Aquarium
If you want to be amazed, this is the place to go. Recently renovated, this incredible exhibit is stunning through and through. Well worth a visit. 
Parks & Outdoor
Flat Iron Mesa 
This is the largest developed park in the city. It's name comes from it's hilly terrain. It's a beautiful place to play sports or simply have a picnic. It's also a great place to sled! With it's 6 soccer fields, 2 baseball fields, 1 volleyball court, 2 playgrounds, 4 tennis courts, and 2 lighted outdoor pavilions - you will love this Sandy city favorite. 
Lone Peak Park
This is the second largest park in Sandy. Lone peak provides both outdoor and indoor facilities. If you are looking for a skate park, an indoor pavilion, 3 full lighted pavilions, 3 full sized soccer fields, 2 baseball/softball fields, score keepers building, concession stand, 2 playgrounds, 1 basketball court, or a walking/jogging path that surrounds the park - then this is the place for you!
Dog Park
Need someplace to go with your 4 legged pal? Sandy city is proud of their off-leash dog park. 1-acre fenced, trees, benches and a walking trail.
